For trackers

Wherever an endangered species leaves footprints, we can use those prints to learn about it.

A trail of white rhino footprints shine out clearly on a road in Namibia

FIT was developed through close observation of the skills of indigenous expert trackers in Zimbabwe, and since then we have found trackers all over the world to be one of our greatest resources in the application of this technique.

Because FIT depends first and foremost on the observation of footprints, trackers are ideally positioned to help us collect footprint images!

If you regularly track and see footprints, please register on our site and take advantage of being part of our community!
